program for homeless and feral cats. see

PET RESCUE
COOL GREEN WORLD, as reported in the Wisconsin Post Crescent,
was a major coordinator in effecting the rescue of some
300 pets stranded in Weyauwega, Wisconsin during the 3-week-long
evacuation of their owners, following the derailment of
a train carrying highly explosive propane tanks. see

STUDENT EDUCATION
To encourage the interest of students in animal rights,
animal welfare and environmental concerns COOL GREEN WORLD
works to spotlight the issues in the coolest way:
- Since 1997 we have conducted essay competitions
for students in 9th through 12th grades in the Detroit
Public High School system and this will become a national
contest launched through our website. see

- Plans are going ahead at the request of educators to
make in-school presentations and to provide COOL GREEN
WORLD cutting-edge videos and supporting materials free
of charge for use in classroom settings.
